Special requests for your event photography

Tell us what would make you or your guests more comfortable, and we will plan around it.

Opens WhatsApp with a ready-made message. Edit it, then press send. No commitment.

For example quieter portrait time, no flash, step-free positions, breaks or a support person. Only share what is needed.
Short answer

Tell us what would help, for example step-free access, quieter positioning, extra time, a particular way of communicating or a preferred way of being asked before being photographed. You choose how much to share. Your plan needs only what helps, not medical details. We confirm in writing what we will do.

What kinds of adjustments can we discuss?

People ask about different things, and none of them needs a long explanation. Common examples include:

  • getting into and around a venue, such as steps, lifts or distance between rooms
  • more time for a session, or breaks between poses
  • a quieter or less crowded place to be photographed
  • being asked before a photograph is taken
  • a preferred way to be contacted before and on the day

Whether a particular adjustment can be included for your date is confirmed in writing. If something cannot be done, we say so and suggest what we can do.

How much do I need to tell you?

Only what helps. We ask for nothing more, and medical records or reasons are not needed. A sentence such as "my mother uses a wheelchair and needs a step-free route" is enough. What you share is used to plan your event and is not passed to anyone who does not need it.

Details are kept to what is needed, as explained in our privacy notice.

How do we plan with you?

We reply, ask any questions we need, and propose how to adapt the plan. This may mean a longer window, a different order, a different place for portraits, or simply a quiet word with the host. The result goes into the written confirmation so everyone knows.

The personal photography preference note helps you write down what you want us to know. For comfort at long events, comfort and wellbeing guides explain what hosts commonly plan.

What about guests who prefer not to be photographed?

A guest's wishes can be raised with you as the host. Organiser instructions and individual guest preferences explains how to pass them to the team. Choices about how finished photographs are shared are on photography privacy and publication choices.

Preparing the venue side

Venue access affects every adjustment. The venue photography checklist lists what to ask the venue about routes, seating and rules. If the occasion is private and small, assessing discreet coverage for a private gathering may help you decide how visible the team should be. To begin the conversation, use request photography and mention what you need in your first message.

Checklist

  • What would help, in your own words.
  • Whether this is for you, a guest or the whole event.
  • How you prefer us to communicate.
  • Anything about the venue that affects access.
  • A person to speak with, if not you.
  • Whether you would like to be asked before photographs are taken.

Send us a short note about what would help. We will reply, ask only what we need and confirm the plan in writing.

Tell us what would help

Common questions

Do I have to explain a health condition?

No. Describe what would help, not the reason. For example, say you need a seat between poses or a quiet spot, and we plan from that.

Can someone else contact you for me?

Yes. A family member, carer or colleague can write on your behalf. Tell us who to speak with and how you prefer to be addressed.

Can the plan change on the day if I need a break?

Tell us in advance that the pace may need to change, and agree a signal. We plan for breaks and a flexible order of photographs.

How do I ask for a different way to communicate?

Tell us what works best, such as short messages, a call at a set time or a written plan. Ask us whether we can reply in your preferred language, and we will tell you in writing.

Tell us what would help

Send us a short note about what would help. We will reply, ask only what we need and confirm the plan in writing.

What happens next: You send your event details on WhatsApp. Our team reads the brief, asks what is missing, then confirms in writing whether the date, venue and coverage can be booked, with a quotation. Opening WhatsApp does not send anything, and a message is not a booking until both sides confirm.
